TCM presented Vickerman Company with the SBA Small Business Excellence Award for 2018 at the 55th Annual Minnesota Small Business Week Awards Luncheon on May 11th. Vickerman Company is a distributor of artificial Christmas trees, holiday decorations, and other seasonal décor. They are located in Norwood Young America, Minnesota.

TCM’s Sheil Nelson proudly recognized co-owners Pete Vickerman and Randy Schuster, along with their lender, Paul Maahs of Charter Bank. Sheil first met with the threesome in 2007 to finance the construction of a 37,500 square foot building. Thanks to a very impressive level of growth, Vickerman has since utilized several SBA 504 loans, and is currently adding a 123,000 square foot facility to their expansive operation.

Congratulations to Pete, Randy and their entire team at Vickerman Company! The partnership between Vickerman, Charter Bank and the SBA is an outstanding example of a successful private/public relationship.
